Contact Nester // BIOGRAPHY Nester is a Madison based modern experimental rock band that originated in 2008. Influenced by a wide variety of music, from The Talking Heads to Radiohead, Nester incorporates many imaginative synth lines, cryptic lyrics, exhilarating guitar riffs and stimulating drum beats that come together to create an original, beautifully rocking repertoire. Live, this five member band aims to please, traveling from serenity to explosiveness and leaves their audience sneakily inspired. Nester independently released their first demo, In the Heliosphere, in July of 2010, and is currently working on a follow-up album. // BLURB SPOT We are planning and recording our first full length album in Spring 2013 with a Summer 2013 release date. Reguardless, it just got a little better. We are happy to annouce that we're playing a show Thursday, January 31st at the The High Noon Saloon (701A E Washington Ave, Madison) with Anna Wang and The Oh Boys and A Royal Clark. Show starts at 9:00pm. Ages 21+ Show Poster Gallery (12.01.12) While I was coming up with a new poster to promote our upcoming show at The Alchemy Bar (1980 Atwood Ave. Madison) on Saturday Dec. 8th I took a look through old show posters, and decided to post a gallery, with the idea being that show posters are fun to look at. The tentative lineup is two sets of Nester with the good Dr in between and after to keep the energy flowing and the night going.
